libdap-dev software package provides Development files (headers and static libraries) for libdap, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdap-dev
libdap-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdap-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdap-dev *
You will get with libdap-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
